Illumini- Amateur vs Phofessional Photography

Any idiot with a camera can claim these days to be a photographer. The digital
age of cameras can give anyone the ability to take pictures of high clarity at just the
push of a button. The options that these camera's give, allow a person to take out red
eyes and to enhance it to an acceptable level.  The knowledge of film development not
even needed anymore as film itself if becoming a lost commodity. Nope all it takes now
is a camera, a computer, and a good printer.

But lets dive in deeper, past the equipment and knowledge of development that don't
trivially matter anymore.  Lets get into "What exactly is Photography".

Photography is not simply about taking pictures. Photography is an Art-Form. It isn't
about simply capturing moments, it is about capturing an image that gives the person
looking at it a Strong Emotional Response. It captures something so unique or beautiful
that one can not help but to stare at it.

A real Photographer will take 100 pictures to find the one that will be worthy of his
collection. He will spend hours to get the few worthy pictures, discarding the rest. His
passion is not for the Quantity of pictures taken, but instead for the Quality of the few
that are accepted.

Photographers are like artist. They understand that pictures of almost anything can
have a place in the role of art. I recently saw a unique collection of BDSM photographs
that were amazingly done with a huge amount of artistic value. A true art lover respects
all value in art and respects the pushing of limits within it.

In short, Photography has no limits anymore. Its content is from one end of the spectrum
to the other with a huge amount of followers that will always like what a person decides
to photograph. One is a photographer when they look to capture the "Ah factor" and
give that wonderful gift to the world........ That is PHOTOGRAPHY.....
